The bunny fingers come courtesy of my uncle Joe. ALL tOSetheR NOW… AWWWW!!!! Name: Irene Miller Irvine (also known as “Grandma”). best feature is: I don’t think it’s very nice to be boastful, Ally. worst feature is: And I don’t think I’d like to admit to anything here. My favourite colour is: Magnolia. favourite smell is: Carpet freshener. My favourite food is: I always say you can’t beat a bit of shortbread. I was only allowed to eat three things for the rest of my life, what would they be?: 1) Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagne (one of that nice Jamie Oliver’s recipes).
2) Smoked Fish Risotto (one of that lovely Nigella Lawson’s recipes). 3) Grandma’s Crunchy Potato Pie (one of my own recipes). (^My favourite thing to touch is: My Siamese-cross cat Mushu. He’s very silky and soft to stroke and doesn’t shed many hairs, which I appreciate.
(§L My favourite sound is: The hoover. I find all that droning very relaxing. ® My best mate is: My husband Stanley. favourite place is: Our lovely tidy flat (especially after a day at your messy house, Ally!) best subject at school was: Ally, dear, I can’t even remember what I did last Tuesday, never mind remember what I was good at at school.
1 have a talent for: Cooking. The talent I’d most like to have is: Speaking Spanish fluently. Then I’d be able to tell my grandchildren* to tidy their rooms in a different language. (*With the exception of Linn, of course, who’s my star pupil when it comes to tidiness.) o O o » If aliens abducted me and said I could only take three things from my room to make me feel at home on their planet, they’d be: Aliens?!
What silly nonsense are you talking about? Describe yourself in five words: Tidy, organized, sensible, fair, kind. I’d cringe if anyone knew I…: Oh… all right – sometimes I don’t shoo Mushu off the bed, even though he’s not really allowed on there. If I was invisible for a day I’d: De-clutter your entire house and get rid of it all at a car boot sale.
With the proceeds, I’d buy vouchers for IKEA and some leaflets about their super range of tidy storage items and leave them to be found on the kitchen table.
