Brown waves tousled past the slender frame as hazel eyes narrowed in disappointment. I hummed as if I was actually thinking of a response, before slyly grinning, “Never?” It shook its head. “You shouldn’t do this to yourself. It’s going to kill you.” “You can’t kill what was never alive.”
