“Impatient?” I teased. “If I don’t do this now, I’ll chicken out.” Dillon tossed his shorts aside. His brows shot up. “Am I not supposed to act this way?” A purr rumbled in my chest. “Darling, you can act any way you want with me.” A beautiful, shy smile lit up Dillon’s face. “I was afraid I was being too slutty.”

“Never.” I jerked my shirt over my head and let it fall to the floor then flexed to see Dillon’s reaction. His brows shot up even higher as he licked his lips. “Is that what you think? That being with two men makes you a slut?” The spark in Dillon’s eyes dimmed. He shrugged as he curled his arms around himself. “People around here don’t like progressive behavior. They still think only a man and woman should be together. Hungry is a very backward town, and if they knew I was here with you two, fuck, my dad would kill me.”

“He doesn’t know you’re gay?” I sat on the end of the bed and removed my boots then stood and rid myself of the rest of my clothing. Dillon’s gaze drank me in, and I flexed again. “We’ve never openly talked about it, but he knows. I seriously doubt he’d be happy if he ever found out I slept with two guys at the same time.” That was hard to wrap my head around.

I’d come from a small village in the Smoky Mountains that didn’t bat an eye at two men being together. Hell, Mikhia and I had two fathers. It had been no big deal among the shifters, but I knew all too well how close-minded humans could be. Of course we’d gotten out of that town pretty fast so we weren’t arrested. “Have you changed your mind?” I cocked my head to the side. “I promise you, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to.”

Dillon bit his bottom lip, and fuck, I wanted to nibble on that plump lip again. I stood there naked, my cock jutting out, showing Dillon just how much I wanted him. But if he decided he couldn’t go through with this, I would back off. Mikhia stayed in the background, waiting to see what Dillon would decide. Dillon rubbed his nape. “I’m nervous.” “There’s no reason to be nervous, kitten.” I moved closer, pulling him into my arms.
