It contains the energy of the Divine Mother in her emanation as Gaia or Mother Earth. This being is a vast and powerful Buddha and not a small energy to handle at all! You wouldn’t probably think it would be an issue to receive the energy of the Earth, after all we live in Her field day after day, and our bodies are a part of Her.

Yet to receive the energy not just of the body of the Earth, but of the great soul that animates it, is to tap into an incredibly vast energy field. Consider the electricity required to animate a single light globe compared to the power surging through an entire city. Both scenarios utilise electricity, but the latter does so with more voltage. It is similar when we compare the spiritual intensity of the physical form of the Earth with her soul. When we connect with the Earths soul, we are moving beyond her physical form and opening up to receive her spiritual light.

Our nervous system is the human equivalent of electrical wiring to conduct the flow of spiritual electricity through our bodies. Just as electrical flow requires appropriate wiring to handle the voltage, our nervous system needs to be strong enough to handle the high spiritual voltage of the Earth’s spiritual light. As we connect with the Earths energy in this way, we often go through clearing of old energy that does not resonate at the same frequency as the Earth’s higher level spiritual light.

That might be old fear, old issues to do with mothering and nurturing, to name but a few. Connecting with the soul of the Earth, which is what Picture Jasper encourages and facilitates, happens when we are ready to let go of a lot of old blocks to having a healthy mother relationship. Until we have done enough clearing, or are ready to do the clearing, we may sense the love and possibility of what life could be like in healthy surrender to the Divine Mother, but we won’t be quite ready to go there.

Once we are, however, Picture Jasper can fulfil its special destiny of sharing communications from Gaia, Mother Earth, to her divine children.
