Fold each heart in half lengthways from top to bottom and oversew a couple of stitches at the indent to pull the two heart tops together. For both the large and small flowers, roll up the strip so that the RS of the petals is facing upwards. Pin to hold and stitch securely with a needle and thread. Block the leaves. Lay the wreath on a flat surface and use blocking pins to position the flowers, leaves and hearts where you want them to be.

Glue firmly in place with a hot glue gun. To finish off the wreath, add a hanging loop at the top and stitch or glue in place. This little heart has been designed to be small and light enough to be popped in the post to a friend or loved one. Whether it’s to send a message of love or thanks, or simply to let them know you are thinking about them, it cannot fail to light up someone’s day.

Whether it’s to bring the outside season in or to celebrate a festival or special occasion, a garland or wreath offers the perfect way to add a very unique touch to your home. Wreaths and garlands can be as simple and minimalist or as detailed and abundant as you choose. They can be personalized with favorite colors, flowers, and leaves; what could be better than receiving something beautifully handmade as a birthday, Christmas or thank you present.
