“Oookay.” “As I understand it, what we have here is that our world, time and dimension has connected with Sai’uhn’s. I just found this mind warping shit out after I died.” He let out a small humorous chuckle. “But there are others that have connected with Earth before and they live in hiding all over Earth. Many are dismissed as eccentrics, weirdos, oddities, paranormal, whatever.

I think you get the idea.” “Yeah I think I do. It’s just-” “Unbelievable? Yeah, I know it took me awhile to get it but I’m not a smart lady like you.” He threw me a teasing wink. Was it really that hard to believe? I had seen spirits and maybe even these others all my life.

I mean I just met an underworld deity for goodness sake! A light suddenly flared. The fog started to thin and up ahead I saw a strange humanoid figure sitting in a lotus position. He was a lavender purple, almost a squished blueberry color. His skin seemed to shimmer even though he wasn’t moving. He had a lizard tail, four nicely toned arms, and long silver hair with a set of small tusks peeking from his bottom lip.

When we stepped closer I saw his skin was actually scales. Two of his arms rested in his lap and the other two on his knees. “I was wondering when you would find me.” His voice was low and smooth with a slight accent. “You’re kind of hard to miss in the land of the dead my man. To me you look like a light house. The low humming is also hard to resist.”

John said as he dug a finger into his ear. The alien man unfolded himself and stood up.

OceanofPDF.com Prologue Sai’uhn My clawed feet sank into the soft, cool soil of the forest floor. I took another step before freezing to listen for signs of my pursuers. On my first night being trapped in the human realm it was the human’s enforcers, called SWAT, that I had faced down. They were easy enough to defeat and drive back; my looks alone had them trembling. Their guns were simple projectile weapons that barely penetrated my hide.

They were annoying at best. It was their shock sticks that were more of a challenge. I despised shock sticks, ever since my training years in the gladiator houses on Henter 9. I hated to retreat, but the human civilians that looked on as the human guards and I battled could have been hurt and I hated when innocents were hurt.
