After they gathered their bags, they stepped out of the airport to the familiar sights of her hometown, a bittersweet reminder of everything she had come back to face.

Riley could already tell something was wrong the moment she saw Todd. The loud commotion of the office seemed to fade away as she focused on him. It was so unlike him. Todd was one of Riley’s few male friends.
