Janitor – Oscar Brady

Again, he waits until the noisy class quiets before saying, “And this is gonorrhea.” The penis in the photo is swollen with large blisters near the urethral opening, as well as on the head and scrotum. A large glob of thick off-white fluid rests at what looks to be a split in the head of the penis, like it’s burst at the seams, looking like rancid semen.
Finally, overwhelmed by the vulgarity and reminded of what he attempted to ingest at lunch, Ricky Thompson leans over and vomits next to his desk. He had already lost his lunch, so his vomit is mostly bile. “Goddammit,” the coach says, as though he wasn’t expecting this physical reaction. The coach flicks on the light, picks up the phone, and calls for the custodian. After he sets the phone back in the receiver, he asks the class, “Wanna keep going?” The boys all cheer, and even Ricky nods in approval.
In the girls’ locker room, all of the girls have disrobed at their lockers and walked over to the showers wrapped in towels. Once at the shower, they drape their towels onto small hooks, and turn the water on to wash up. There’s a tiny pump dispenser of soap near each shower, but girls bring their own shampoo. Lucy is extra cautious during shower time.
She can’t get out of it either. She tried to skip it once, but the coach stopped her immediately and told her she had to shower with everyone else. Lucy didn’t want to draw any extra attention to herself, so she quietly complied. “I don’t know why a girl as good-looking as you has anything to worry about,” the coach had said. “I wish I had a body like yours.” Every morning before school, Lucy tucks her penis between her thighs and presses her testicles into her inguinal canals.
She then puts on very tight-fitting underwear to keep everything in place. Over this, she wears tights and a skirt or dress, so that the flowing garment helps conceal her anatomy. She is quite practiced. It’s not even uncomfortable anymore, though she eagerly anticipates resolving this one last remnant of her former self. The only time she really worries, other than the communal shower, is when she gets aroused, like when Greg kisses her. He’s such a good kisser.
The thought enters her mind unbidden. She can’t wear her panties in the shower as this would draw attention and the other girls would have questions when they notice. So, instead, she very carefully takes off her panties and wraps herself in the towel tightly, her genitals remaining tucked away. She shimmies over to the shower, really no different than any other girl with a tightly-wrapped towel. At the shower, she keeps her thighs pressed together.
Fortunately, she has big thighs and not much length when soft, so none of her penis is visible from behind.

And that’s not even the craziest death in the movie—nowhere near it. I was thirteen when I first saw this gorefest of a movie called Janitor and it stuck with me for decades. Imagine early-1990s me: baby faced with a mushroom haircut, standing slack-jawed in the Movie Universe horror section with my little brother Michael. So, Movie Universe was this little privately-owned video rental place that shared a parking lot with a dusty, dimly-lit department store called Rose’s where we went for clothes; and Food Lion, where we did all of our grocery shopping.
All of this was a 30-minute drive away, but it was the closest shopping from our rural Virginia home. While both Rose’s and Movie Universe no longer exist, the latter’s owner can proudly claim that his store outlasted the nearby Blockbuster Video location by several years. This business enduring as long as it did can be attributed to its local loyalty, its low-priced classic film rentals, and notably, its curtained-off adult film section, something the family-friendly rental chains would never do.
When my family visited, I would stare longingly at the mysterious curtained area, curious what treasures it held. On multiple occasions, I caught my dad deftly ducking into the curtained room with a soft rustling of plastic beads. My mom would roll her eyes if she saw him, but otherwise offer no complaint. Later, when I was a licensed driver at 16, I ventured into the forbidden beaded area, even though I was not yet of age per the handwritten sign on the doorframe, only to discover seedy videotape boxes depicting 1970s pornography with titles like Little Ass on the Prairie, Ride Sally Ride, and The Oriental Sexpress, not to be confused with similarly titled television series, rock’n’roll songs, or Agatha Christie novels.
All of this with the adults-only section has little to do with my discovery of Janitor, but I feel it’s necessary to paint a picture of the establishment. As I was saying, I discovered the film when I was 13. I was perusing the horror section with my little brother, as usual.
