A silver water bowl was lying upside down on the grass. “Where’s Cleo?” asked Pandora in a shaky voice. “She should be here.” “Each of you was distracted by a goblin,” said Rachel. “I don’t think that’s a coincidence.” “Clever little fairy,’ hissed a cruel voice. They whirled around to see Jack Frost cackling with laughter. An icy, grey fog swirled around him. “You’ll be sorry for trying to stop me,’ he said, jabbing his bony finger at Li. “Now I have four puppies.” “Give them back!”
