After another hour, I finally figured it out and the relief felt like an orgasm. “Fucking Christ,” I said to myself and could finally move on. The stress was taking a toll on me, and as I typed in the next block of code, I saw a hair fall from my scalp and slowly land on my keyboard.

I arched an eyebrow and picked it up. It was shriveled and wizened, and I started questioning if this was the beginning of the end.
