Working as a mental health advocate, and as a tutor and support worker for disadvantaged women, I’ve met with many of life’s ups and downs.
I’ve also lived through depression, eating disorders, abuse, and had my share of loss and grief. Just as you may have. But I was in shock when my friend confided in me that her grandson had been murdered by his mother, and I learnt that thousands of children are dying every year at the hands of their parents.
I couldn’t sleep for imagining their pain and terror. And so, it became my passion to raise awareness and work towards prevention, by writing the children’s stories. 1kitap1.com/en Acknowledgments With grateful thanks: 1. To you, my reader, as without you, my books, like the children, would be overlooked and forgotten 1.
To every reader who reviews my books, as this the best way we can raise awareness together – with particular thanks to those who rate or review each and every book – you’re priceless in our fight against abuse 1.
