The word synonymous with this trip and what led to my situation with Sadia. I told the guys that Sadia and I were too tired to join them at dinner. But, truthfully, I just wanted to spend time outside the vehicle with Sadia. After we unpacked, took showers, and took a short nap, Sadia and I left the room to explore the premises. We’re now about to have dinner at one of the restaurants inside the hotel.

“See how flaky your friend is acting already, boo? He normally is all up under us from the start to the end of these shindigs. Now look at him. Booed up and funky acting.” Peaches’s voice causes my eyes to leave the menu to see my friends around the table Sadia and I are at.

Peaches’s eyes are on Sadia, which instantly spikes my blood pressure. Sadia opens her mouth to respond before I can. “Aw, that’s too bad. I thought this trip had a couple of focuses, not a smother-each-other one. I’m sorry.” Giggles come from the other women as Peaches’s mouth opens and closes. I mentally pump my fist at Sadia’s effective reminder of what our joint purposes should be.

“Touché, Sadia. Come on so we can let them get back to their business.” Erin smiles before she pushes Peaches away from the table. Jamie mouths his sorry for his wife’s behavior, which reminds me of my need to get with my boys. My wayward hormones had me grabbing Sadia and my luggage, before returning to our room without delay. “Do I need to find a flight to go home? This is the second time that woman has felt comfortable addressing me.”

“Hell no. You ain’t here for her, so ignore that shit. I’m gonna holler at her man tomorrow about her.”

A Word From B About the Author Also By Riley Baxter 1kitap1.com/en SYNOPSIS Sadia Richardson is a well-loved barista currently in her last semester of college. As she earns her degree in business management, she hits a roadblock she never saw coming.

Low on time, Sadia’s options are slim, but before she can give up, a blessing walks into the coffee shop. Chance Mitchell is a hardworking parole officer who’s looking forward to his upcoming vacation. There’s only one stipulation: He needs to bring his girlfriend. Chance doesn’t have a girlfriend, but there is one beauty he has in mind, and he hopes she’ll be down to pretend, just for a weekend.

Chance and Sadia are in a bind, but without hesitation, they’re willing to help one another. A weekend of pretending turns into something neither of them expects. When Monday morning comes, will Chance and Sadia be able to walk away, or has this turned into something real? 1kitap1.com/en ACKNOWLEDGMENTS I dedicate this book in loving memory of Antonia Stewart and Anthony Jones. I pray that my life gives you multiple reasons to be proud of me. Keep resting in eternal peace until we meet again.

To my husband and daughters, I will always dedicate my books to you three. You inspire me to reach for the skies when people prey on my downfall, hoping I fail. It’ll always be the four of us over everything and everyone. Lastly, I want to acknowledge every reader, every friend, every family member, and every author who takes the time to read, share, review, purchase, or download any of the works in my growing catalog.

Without your support, I would not be able to continue doing what I do. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support. 1kitap1.com/en NOTE FROM RILEY Hey! God, if I had a thousand tongues, thank you wouldn’t be enough. Alright, this cute and fun palette cleanser is for those of you who enjoy a good fake-dating situation.

Maybe you’ve thought about what it would be like to get some time alone with your crush. This read will be quick but fulfilling in the best ways. It will also have moments of laughter, because I love humor in my romance.
