1. Purchase a bead with a hole large enough for the small crank rod to be inserted. Attach wire to eye of crank rod to form a starting loop. Slide bead on crank rod shaft and insert in U bracket. Wrap 4 to 5 coils of wire around the shaft to start bead.

2. Next, begin to loosely coil the wire around the bead. Tip: Guide the wire onto the bead with your left hand. Hold the bead and wire with your right hand and twist the bead.
