Row 1 (Right side): 3 Sc in third ch from hook, (skip next 2 chs, 3 sc in next ch) 17 times changing to Ecru in last sc made (Fig. 7b, page 124), (skip next 2 chs, 3 sc in next ch) across: 27 3-sc groups (18 Green and 9 Ecru).
Note: Loop a short piece of yarn around any stitch to mark Row 1 as right side. Row 2: Ch 1, turn; skip first sc, 3 sc in next sc, (skip next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc) 8 times changing to Green in last sc made, (skip next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc) across to last sc, leave last sc unworked.
Row 3: Ch 1 turn; skip first sc, 3 sc in next sc, (skip next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc) 17 times changing to Ecru in last sc made, (skip next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc) across to last sc, leave last sc unworked.
