The biggest difference then is that those who are empowered have the self-discipline to not let those feelings get in the way of whatever it is they need to do. While teaching your mind to have a growth mindset is a great first step, improving your self-discipline will make it easier to be more productive and to avoid feeling overwhelmed regardless of how much mental clutter you are currently dealing with. Being as productive as possible means taking the time to completely understand the intricacies of whatever the task you are currently undertaking turns out to be.
The simple fact of the matter is that if you are aware of all of the potential issues the given task might face, you will be able to deal with them much more appropriately when they do manifest themselves. When it comes to empowerment, this means that you are going to want to dig deep on yourself and determine what is truly holding you back so that you can to work on correcting the source of the issues hampering your empowerment, not just its symptoms.
Being truly self-disciplined means knowing when it is best to wait and gather strength and resources and when it is best to strike for optimal efficacy. It doesn’t matter how much fact-finding you have done if you never go ahead and pull the trigger. Having self-discipline means acting to work on the issues that are hampering your quest for empowerment, even if they are difficult to face directly.
Having self-discipline is a skill which means that the only way it is every going to get easier is with practice. You need to have the dedication to your overall improvement to power through, with the understanding that making the s self-disciplined choice will get easier each time you choose to make it. 6.2 Be ready for what’s next Those who are truly self-disciplined, are that way because they have put in the time required training themselves rigorously to do so. The commitment they have shown isn’t something that just appeared overnight, it was the sum of months if not years of dedication to the idea of self-improvement based around the idea that self-discipline is a trait worth fighting to achieve.
On the other hand, at the end of the day, those who have shown commitment and dedication to bettering themselves in the name of self-discipline, get to know the deep, pure satisfaction of being proud of their hard work. The road ahead may be long but the results will certainly be worth it. If you preserve you will be able to stand among the greats and know that you are truly ready for whatever life choses to throw at you next and that you have the self- discipline required to succeed at any and every task yet to fall before you.
