How in the hell could this be happening to him? He yanked his leg, but Dorm held on like a dog with a bone. His grip tightened, stopping Bobby from slipping to the floor. And then Dorm started caressing his leg, humming in his sleep. Great. The fed was making out with Bobby’s leg, probably dreaming about having sex with it.

If the guy started humping it, Bobby was going to kick Dorm in the jaw. He wiggled his toes, tickling Dorm under his chin. The man swatted at Bobby’s foot, and his grip loosened. Bobby yanked hard, kneeing Dorm in his thigh. He froze, his breathing shallow as he waited for the guy to wake. Dorm didn’t wake. Bobby slipped to the floor once he had his leg back.

He had rolled to his hands and knees, ready to get up and find his clothes, when the room began to rotate, spinning so fast that Bobby fell over on his side, splayed out on his back to stare at the ceiling. If he could just—Bobby rolled to his side and began to vomit.

His insides tightened as his stomach clenched hard. “What in the hell are you doing down there?” Ernest asked as he looked over the edge of the bed. Bobby’s stomach was throbbing too violently for him to answer. His arms shook as he tried to hold his weight up. If he fell, he was going to face-plant into the spew. Not a pretty option. Dorm was up and out the bed before Bobby’s arms betrayed him. He scooped Bobby off the floor and carried him to the bathroom.

Once they were at the sink, the man said, “The fall would have broken something in you.” How did he know what Bobby had planned? It was as if Dorm could read his mind, but Bobby knew that was impossible—impressive, but impossible. Bobby lay there in Dorm’s arms like a drunken cat as Dorm washed his face. He hated feeling so damn weak, so helpless. Bobby had taken care of himself since before he was snatched off the street to work for Chavez. He didn’t need anyone, and he most certainly didn’t need two cops to look after him.

“I need some pants,” Bobby groaned. “My cock’s hanging out.” Dorm frowned. “I’m more worried about you getting sick and trying to escape.” Bobby tried to push himself from Dorm’s arms, but they were like steels bands wrapped around him. He gave up trying and went limp once more. “I’m a thug who has two cop mates. Would do you expect me to do?” “You’re not a thug,” Dorm said as he finished cleaning Bobby off.

“Just a victim of circumstance.” Bobby actually laughed at that. The sound was bitter as he turned his head away from Dorm. “I’m hardly a victim. You’d be better off without me anyway. Why would you want to strap yourself with someone like me?”

FBI Agent Justin Dorm has been undercover for the past two years. When an opposing drug lord enters the home where he is working, Dorm knows something isn’t right. The man feels wholly evil and Dorm finds himself in the middle of a bloodbath. Bobby Saldaña was pulled off the streets at a young age to work for Diaz Chavez.

He’s wanted Dorm since first laying eyes on the man. But Dorm has made it very clear that he wants no part of Bobby— that is until all hell breaks loose and the two must run for their lives. Deputy Ernest Varnes knew that Dorm was his mate when the agent left town two years ago. When out on patrol, Ernest discovers Dorm and another man sleeping in a car behind Lassiter’s clothing store.

But their troubles have just begun. Not only has a shadow god marked Bobby, but Bobby fights the mating tooth and nail, putting himself and the others in danger.
