Fated To The Lycan King Forbidden Alpha Kings 16 – Ada Night

“Good afternoon, my King.” I watched her walk away, too surprised by her boldness to even call after her. That felt like a blatant answer to one of my questions. Siena Rorik definitely knew that my father was a Lycan, but it seemed as though he did not earn the support of her or the rest of the Oryx Pack.
I could take a look at the old records, see who initiated the arranged marriage between Morrowind and Oryx—perhaps it would contain some more answers. Once she was long gone, I went on walking again, storming out the front entrance of Hillside Castle. It was a quiet day outside the castle. A few omega servants stood beside the front gates, waiting for any arrivals. The Academy had been in session for a few hours at that point, meaning all its students were already buried in their work.
I followed the path alongside the cliffside, going down to the beach. Ocean waves lapped lazily against the shore, a few students lying on towels on the sand, their noses deep within their thick books. Silvervine looked like a ghost town when I passed through the threshold. Low and muffled chatter could be heard on the opposite side of the doors, where the lectures were taking place. I moved slowly down the hall till I came across the courtyard.
Some students lingered there, a few perched on benches while some merely passed by till they arrived at their next class. The students noticed me within a second, all of their eyes holding onto me in a stunned way. I needed to find Eira before they all grew too suspicious about my presence. Beside the wolf statue at the center of the courtyard was Professor Hyde.
She wrote diligently in a book, reading glasses teetering on the bridge of her nose. I quickly approached. “Good afternoon, Professor Hyde.” She jumped almost a foot in the air. “Oh, King Callum!” Standing, Hyde gave a quick and nervous bow, collecting her books as fast as she could without making a mess. “To-To what do I owe the pleasure?” Her eyes lit up. “Have you come to tour more of the Academy?
There’s still so much left that we haven’t gotten to yet.” “Perhaps another day,” I replied, giving her a tight smile.

So when I meet the Lycan King Callum at his mating ceremony, I see my chance. But before I can take it, his fated mate is announced…
Me. The problem? The growing, heated bond between us. I never expected to enjoy how his forbidden hands touch me— Or how the jealousy burns when he looks at another. “An omega,” I forced out through gritted teeth. “Again,” he shouted, lunging rapidly. Ducking beneath his swing, I crouched below his throwing arm, reappearing behind him. The length of his sword sliced against the wall, quickly ripping a mounted map of Sumbria in half.
