“I like my crown.” “It’s not a crown. It’s a tiara. My aide said you’ll wear one. But I still like you better as my teacher than as Queen, so I made it very small.” I smiled, struggling to keep my eyes dry. “Thank you, Your Highness. And can I tell you a secret?” I whispered, leaning closer. Amir’s eyes widened. He glanced around as if checking whether the room was safe for secrets, then nodded eagerly. “I think being your teacher is much cooler than being Queen too.”

He beamed, then looked back at the drawing. With a satisfied sigh, he picked up a thin brush and carefully wrote a word in the corner of the page, slowly, letter by letter: Family. I wanted to say something. I couldn’t. Because in that moment— between crayons and ink stains—I knew it no longer mattered what the world would say.

I belonged. Unfortunately, my time with Amir passed far too quickly that morning, while the rest of the day dragged on like fine sand slipping through my fingers. Meetings. Choices. Endless lists. Names I had never heard. Fabrics I had never touched. Rituals I barely understood. It felt like crossing a river too wide, where each bank seemed to move farther away.

The first meeting took place in one of the ceremonial rooms, now transformed into the wedding’s command center. Dona Miriam sat beside me, her expression more closed than usual. Three women of the court discussed flower colors, while two others brought silverware samples and menus. “This shade was used in the investiture ceremony of the King’s grandfather,” one said, pointing to gold embroidery on deep blue fabric. “And this is the Queen Mother’s preferred style.

Simple, but classic.” “Classic for her funeral, perhaps,” a third murmured, her smile sharper than her tone.

EPILOGUE ACKNOWLEDGMENTS OceanofPDF.com SYNOPSIS BILLIONAIRE ROMANCE • SHEIKH ROMANCE • REJECTED BABY • REDEMPTION • DESERT WEDDING • CULTURAL CLASH • SECOND CHANCE • ARAB PRINCE • FORBIDDEN LOVE He loved her too late—and lost her by believing the wrong lie. Khaled Al-Zayid is the absolute sovereign of Al-Harib, a man shaped by war and duty, feared by his enemies and obeyed by an entire kingdom.

Nothing shakes him. Until he meets Lívia Carvalho, the Brazilian daughter of the palace housekeeper—a young woman with a gentle voice and quiet courage who teaches him the only language he has never mastered: love. When the desert bows to emotion, the Sheikh defies the throne to claim her as his wife. But power is forged in shadows, and a cruel lie turns the woman he loves into the enemy he destroys.

On their wedding day, before the entire kingdom, Khaled abandons her at the altar, ignoring the confession that would have changed everything: she was pregnant. Four years later, the king who believed himself invincible suffers what feels like divine punishment—he becomes sterile. Consumed by guilt, he discovers that the woman he condemned carries not only his forgiveness, but his lost heir. Now, to reclaim what he destroyed, Khaled must cross oceans, confront his own council, and kneel before the love he once tried to kill.

A romance about redemption, second chances, and the power of forgiveness—where the desert finally learns how to bloom.
