That I\u2019m to be your connection to Jimmy? Oh Polly, I don\u2019 know.\u2019 She clasps her hands and says nothing. I look at the screen again. \u2018Is that what he\u2019s saying, Polly? Oh, I don\u2019 know, I don\u2019t know.\u2019 Oscar for Kiki! \u2018Please, Kiki. It\u2019s the only way Jimmy and I can be together.\u2019 \u2018Through me.\u2019 \u2018Yes. I know it\u2019s a lot to ask, but …\u2019 \u2018I\u2019ll do it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll do it for you, Polly. But just leave me alone for a few minutes to think it through.\u2019 I wait in the lounge for as long as I can bear, but I can\u2019t leave her for too long. I don\u2019t want her having second thoughts. I go back into the kitchen phone in hand.<\/p>\n

\u2018Skyman\u2019s texted again.\u2019 I pass her the phone. \u2018Tonight!\u2019 she says. \u2018But yes, he\u2019s right. Why wait? And I want to be with Jimmy so much.\u2019 I never thought I could be this happy. Polly shares my bed and believes she\u2019s making love to Jimmy. The two good kids are seen and not heard, and Polly\u2019s become quite adept at beating Ayesha with the wooden spoon Surprising what an innocent kitchen utensil can do.<\/p>\n

And I think she\u2019s starting to hate her as much as I do. Starting to believe she\u2019s an evil little witch who doesn\u2019t deserve to be loved. But it isn\u2019t enough. We need to do more to punish her. Like I told my friend on the phone the other day; I actually feel I could kill her. I\u2019ve made Polly bite her, like a vampire, and tell her she hates her.<\/p>\n

The kid looks horrified at that! Polly beats her for the slightest thing now, and we hea her crying in her room every evening. My favourite though, is when one of us puts the mask on and bursts into her room in the middle of the night. Does the stupid girl really not know it\u2019s me or her mother? By the way she screams and shits herself she doesn\u2019t seem to.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m perfecting a pretty terrifying voice to go with it. Turns out I\u2019m quite the actor. Definitely missed my calling. Sometimes I think Polly\u2019s as daft as the brat. She actually believes we\u2019re scaring the evil out of the girl.<\/p>\n
