Killer: I warned that Station Slit that breaking the shuttle\u2019s booster module would mess up our chances to take that frelling Bounty Hunter down. Banger: Hey, Deadshot, are you and your crew gonna be around for drinks later tonight?<\/p>\n

Deadshot: Looks that way for now. Banger: Fine, we\u2019ll meet up with you guys in the Neon Pussy. Deadshot: The first round is on you. \u201cDamn!\u201d I swore after killing the comm-link as the medium fighters continued toward the secret path\u2019s entrance. \u201cWe would\u2019ve surely been blasted onsite if we\u2019d tried this in the Mongoose.\u201d \u201cIn that case,\u201d Gimbal said, a condescending look coming to her face.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would have suggested that we needed to pass directly through the asteroid belt and not this secret pass.\u201d \u201cAre you kidding me?\u201d I demanded while easing my way through the maze. \u201cThe Mongoose would\u2019ve been torn bashed to smithereens within the first minute!\u201d \u201cYou misunderstand me,\u201d Gimbal reiterated with an amused look coming to her face. \u201cMy suggestion would have been to use your EVA Frame to transit through the asteroid belt while I stayed with the Mongoose.\u201d \u201cWonderful,\u201d I groused and rolled my eyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is one of the automatic defensive turrets,\u201d Gimbal curiously pointed out as we entered the last stretch to the asteroid base. \u201cAnd another one over there.\u201d \u201cDamn, how many of them do they have out there?\u201d I said as we flew past another pair. \u201cMore than a small squadron of Raptor G-7 Heavy Fighters would want to face off in these tight corridors,\u201d Gimbal said, not batting an eye.<\/p>\n

At my raised eyebrow, she explained what she meant. \u201cThose are the USL Fleet\u2019s uses for their anti-pirate patrols.\u201d \u201cHmm,\u201d I harrumphed while thoughtfully eyeing the turrets. \u201cHow do you think they are programmed to respond if the asteroid base comes under attack?\u201d \u201cThat is a good question,\u201d Gimbal admitted as her eyes got that faraway look that meant she was processing multiple simulations.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say the probable chance is approaching unity that all allied ships will not be targeted during such an attack.\u201d \u201cSo, we\u2019re going to need to make sure we hide the Bloody Mayhem good and not get caught,\u201d I said, frowning as we passed another pair of turrets. \u201cOtherwise, we\u2019ll be fucked.\u201d \u201cWe will be fucked either way if we are discovered too quickly,\u201d Gimbal pointed with a snort of derision.<\/p>\n
