Mama!” “You can leave this house,” Papa said from the second floor of our home, watching the commotion with disdain. “But my daughter will stay with me. Take her out of here.” “No!” I shouted at the top of my lungs when Papa’s bodyguards started to drag Mama out of the living room and into the waiting car.<\/p>\n

“Mama!” “Take Mari inside her room,” Papa commanded. My nursemaid forcibly dragged me further inside the mansion, and my last sight of my mama was her at the back of the car, crying. Little did I know that was the last time I would ever see my mama again…<\/p>\n
