My son has been signing his name on every single drawing since he first figured out how to hold a crayon. Scribbles of dinosaurs, flowers, rocket ships, rainbows with legs, each one, proudly stamped with his name. No negotiations. No exceptions. If you make it, you sign it. It’s not about ego. It’s about ownership. I want him to know his work matters, even when it’s messy. Especially when it’s messy. That his voice deserves to be seen, not just heard. That the real power isn’t just in the making, it’s in the standing by what you’ve made.<\/p>\n

That’s what I want for him. It’s also what I want for you. Visibility of your work matters just as much as the work itself. You are creatives and artists; you are entrepreneurs, managers and employees; you are employers, founders and freelancers. You are people in between, figuring it out. The thing you all have in common is that you are all women who care.<\/p>\n
