Add 3 quarts water and cherries; stir well. Fill glasses with ice and juice. Makes 6 to 8 servings. Strawberry Bread Laura Kennemuth Anderson, IN Once you make this yummy dessert for guests, they\u2019ll request it again &#038; again!<\/p>\n<p>1-1\/2 c. sugar 1-1\/4 c. oil 4 eggs 3 c. all-purpose flour 1 t. baking soda 1 t. cinnamon 1 t. salt 2 10-oz. pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed and divided Blend sugar and oil together; add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Combine dry ingredients in a separate mixing bowl; set aside. Reserve 1\/2 cup strawberries for sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Add half the dry ingredients and half the remaining strawberries to the egg mixture; mix on low until combined. Mix in remaining halves well; divide dough and pour in 2 greased and floured 8&#8243;x4&#8243; loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool; slice and serve with strawberry sauce. Makes 8 servings per loaf. Sauce: 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened 2 T. sugar 1\/2 c. reserved strawberries, pur\u00e9ed Combine ingredients until spreading consistency is achieved.<\/p>\n<p>Capture the flavor of the diner! White Chocolate-Orange Dreams Jessica Parker Mulvane, KS Creamy white chocolate and sweet orange make these cookies a refreshing snack anytime. 1 c. butter, softened 2\/3 c. brown sugar, packed 1\/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 T. orange zest 2 t. orange extract 2-1\/4 c. all-purpose flour 3\/4 t.<\/p>\n<p>baking soda 1\/2 t. salt 12-oz. pkg. white chocolate chips Cream butter and sugars together until creamy; add egg, orange zest and orange extract, blending well. In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to sugar mixture, blending after each addition.<\/p>\n<p>Fold in chocolate chips; drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Cool for 2 minutes before removing from baking sheet. Makes about 3-1\/2 dozen. Sodas just seem to taste better in old-fashioned parfait glasses!
