Add few known indexers which you are familiar with to Prowlarr by clicking the Add New Indexer button on first page. After selecting an indexer, click \u2018Test\u2019 button and if it shows a green tick, you can then click the save button. Go to Settings > Apps > + sign Here, add Sonarr and Radarr. It will ask for few information to connect Prowlarr to Sonarr\/Radarr. Connecting Sonarr\/Radarr to Prowlarr First, change the IPs of Prowlarr Server and Sonarr\/Radarr Server from localhost to the specific IP of that service.<\/p>\n

Only thing missing is the API key of Sonarr\/Radarr. For that, you visit Settings > General > API Key of Sonarr\/Radarr and copy- paste into Prowlarr\u2019s form for adding App. Then press save in Prowlarr. Sonarr\/Radarr API key Click on the Sync App Indexers button in Prowlarr. From Sonarr\/Radarr, you can go to Settings > Indexers and see those indexers from Prowlarr have already been added there.<\/p>\n

Synced indexers in Sonarr\/Radarr Basic configuration of Prowlarr is done. You can keep exploring other settings as you wish. Configure Sonarr\/Radarr media path The configuration of Sonarr\/Radarr are similar so I will cover both at the same time. From the 1st page, click on Import Existing Movies\/Import Existing Series. Click Start Import. Select the respective paths for movies\/tv shows. As while setting up the docker container, you pointed the host \/mnt\/data directory to \/data inside the container, you will find your folders inside \/data here.<\/p>\n

You can see that I have \/data\/media\/movies and \/data\/media\/tv Sonarr\/Radarr will show the folder is now added. Click on the Path highlighted in blue and if there is existing media, Sonarr\/Radarr will try to import that into respective app. The paths to your media folders are added to Sonarr\/Radarr. Now it needs to be connected to Qbittorrent and\/or SABnzbd to start downloading more media from Prowlarr Indexers. See how the automation is coming along! Connect Sonarr\/Radarr With Qbittorrent Go to Settings > Download Clients > Qbittorrent Change the 4 areas as shown below.<\/p>\n

Then press Save (or Test and Save). Qbittorrent would now be added. Connecting Qbittorrent to Sonarr Downloading A Series\/Movie In Sonarr\/Radarr You have setup the series and movie folder. You have connected Qbittorrent along with Indexers from Prowlarr. Now it is time to add new content. Go to Add New from Sonarr\/Radarr. Search a movie or tv series and it will show up.<\/p>\n

Do not tick \u201cStart search for missing movie\u201d or \u201cStart search for missing episodes\u201d yet.<\/p>\n
