I don&#8217;t usually like having my picture taken, especially when I&#8217;m not ready for it. I always seem to wind up with a doofy grin on my face or something.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m making a movie,&#8221; Marc explained. &#8220;It&#8217;s kind of like reality TV,&#8221; Marc told me. &#8220;You know: &#8216;What is it really like to go to Joyce Kilmer Middle School?'&#8221; &#8220;Who&#8217;d watch that?&#8221; Chloe asked him. &#8220;School&#8217;s boring.&#8221; &#8220;Not necessarily,&#8221; Marc said. &#8220;You just have to know what to look for.&#8221; &#8220;Marc, turn off the camera, okay?&#8221; Liza asked him in her soft voice. I smiled gratefully at Liza. It seemed like we had a lot in common &#8211; besides the blushing. &#8220;Yeah, Jenny doesn&#8217;t look like she&#8217;s in the mood to be interviewed by you, Mr. Spielberg,&#8221; Chloe teased him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hey, don&#8217;t make fun of Steven Spielberg,&#8221; Marc warned. &#8220;I wasn&#8217;t,&#8221; Chloe assured him. &#8220;I was making fun of you. And I was protecting Jenny.&#8221; She turned to me and studied my face. &#8220;You don&#8217;t look so good. Are you okay?&#8221; No. I wasn&#8217;t okay. Not by a long shot. My feet hurt from {44 walking up and down stairs all day in my new boots, and my head was hot from being under a hat.<\/p>\n<p>But I didn&#8217;t say that. I didn&#8217;t say anything at all. &#8220;Oh, that was real nice of you, Chloe,&#8221; Marc said, shak- ing his head.
