The past is over, and you can create your future, one step at a time. The present is your gift to yourself to begin again to carve out a new way of being. You must forgive yourself; you are more than the mistakes you have made. Part of your remorse comes from not living up to your own expectations of who you want to be. You have a choice to either wallow in self-pity or choose to become who you want to be, starting from this time forward.<\/p>\n<p>Will you make mistakes and fall into old patterns? Probably. The sooner you can break the pattern and get back on track, the better. You will see more and more success and less of these patterns of defeating behaviors.
