The situation could not have been more frustrating, because I hadn\u2019t the slightest idea of what I was saying and my inner Helmut and Peter were howling and grunting, demanding nature follow its course. Thankfully tiny Regina, wisely silencing the other molecular voices and reminding my other parts, selves, and excited glands and organs that I could not, in any way, talk or act in an uncontrolled manner and risk revealing myself and losing everything I\u2019d achieved so far, and once more I blessed that tiny portion of my psyche that managed to impose sense in the midst of that chaotic whirlwind of heat and desire that were already ravaging the lower two thirds of my body, allowing an excuse to escape from my mouth: What an idiot!<\/p>\n

I came to buy something but I\u2019ve forgotten my money. I put kilometers of distance, deserts of time, and oceans of space between myself and that sinuous portent of nature. Despite Ingeborg\u2019s friendly shouts, rapidly fading in volume due to the speed of my flight, assuring me that money wasn\u2019t necessary, that she could trust me, asking why I was leaving so quickly, had she said or done something that might have annoyed me, the poor thing, what an enchanting woman, what a nightmare of a woman, I fled her dominion like a soul being taken by the devil\u2014something I was all too familiar with\u2014promising to never again set foot in this part of Szonden.<\/p>\n

At least not until a few years had passed. Or a year, I was unfamiliar with local mourning customs. Or six months, if it was in secret, nothing less.<\/p>\n
