I put us down for the colony hub for lunch, and I figure we can have a quiet dinner here. I gather we\u2019ve been expected to go to Haven, but the owner of the planet actually being here instead is a good thing.\u201d My mouth twitched, and she chuckled. \u201cI was hoping people had forgotten that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo-one has.\u201d I sighed, and she leaned over and kissed me. That led to the bedroom, and by the time we came back up for air, it was after midnight. \u201cMerry Christmas,\u201d I told her. \u201cMerry Christmas,\u201d she told me. \u201cMeow,\u201d said Houdini. 1kitap1.com\/en Twenty Four I woke at exactly seven thirty, like I always did. Houdini was sleeping on top of me, but woke immediately I shifted position, and presented his neck for scritches.<\/p>\n

A good pat later, with me watching Elle still sleeping, he went in search of food. I put the coat rack from the lake side door next to the Christmas tree, and then created the dress for Elle, inside a travel bag, itself inside Christmas paper, and hanging from the rack. I\u2019d already done a present for Houdini in two places. One was a new cat tree in the secondary living room on Elle\u2019s side of the joined house, near the beach side door, and the other was a package of new toys under the tree.<\/p>\n

She stirred just before eight, saw me still lying next to her but awake, and smiled at me. \u201cGood morning,\u201d she said. \u201cThis is different.\u201d \u201cGood morning,\u201d I repeated, \u201cand yes. I think this is the first time I\u2019ve woken up before you.\u201d \u201cMust have been the late hour before we went to sleep. You woke at your normal time then?\u201d \u201cThat I did. Houdini was on me as usual, so he kept me busy for a bit. Then I just took the opportunity to watch you sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n

I grinned at her. \u201cNot my best look.\u201d \u201cYou always look good. Are we getting up? Or staying here all day.\u201d Her momentary frown changed into a smile. \u201cWe better get up.<\/p>\n
