\u201cKnow something? There\u2019s 55 shoe stores in the mall. Think that\u2019s enough choice?\u201d \u201cNever too much choice in shoes!\u201d \u201cT\u2019ve got an idea! Let\u2019s window shop for our weddings.\u201d They went into a store that sold bridal gowns and accessories. Mannequins were reflected along the mir- rored walls, beautifully gowned for weddings they would never attend. A woman with a warm smile welcomed Heather and Liz, then left them alone to try on hats with veils and long white gloves.<\/p>\n

\u201cT like all the pearls,\u201d Heather said. \u201cAnd the lace.\u201d \u201cTI know someone who\u2019s having eight bridesmaids when she marries.\u201d \u201cEight?\u201d Heather nodded. \u201cRemember that guy Chad?\u201d \u201cTI guess so! We’ve got a date tomorrow. You set it up, So don\u2019t forget to come!\u201d \u201cT\u2019ll be there, don\u2019t you worry. Anyway, I\u2019ve only met Chad once but he seemed friendly. I know his sister. She\u2019s the one who\u2019s having eight bridesmaids.\u201d \u201cSome wedding.\u201d They decided to have lunch and walked to an outdoor cafe at the Ice Palace where the tables overlooked the ice.<\/p>\n

Heather and Liz ordered quiche Lorraine and spring water, then looked down at the rink. \u201cHey,\u201d Liz said. \u201cThere\u2019s Chad.\u201d He had curly black hair and was wearing an ice dan- cing costume. A female dancer and a grey-haired woman were with him on the ice. \u201cShe must be their coach,\u201d Liz said.<\/p>\n

She watched with fascination as Chad and the girl rehearsed with the woman, whirling around the ice. \u201cI can\u2019t believe he\u2019s an ice dancer, and he\u2019s so good.\u201d \u201cSomeone told me that\u2019s his cousin.\u201d \u201cHis partner? That\u2019s great.\u201d : When the rehearsal ended they nibbled their quiche and a delicious salad while discussing the attack at the indoor sea.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look for means, motive and opportunity,\u201d Liz said. \u201cThe villain has to have all three.\u201d \u201cSo, who qualifies in the scuba club?\u201d Liz thought for a moment. \u201cWell, any of them could have broken off a chunk of coral.<\/p>\n
