Rare 1936 Austin 12\/4 Taxi has coachwork by Jones Brothers and retains many original features, including its Halda meter and luggage rack. This is an interesting mix of primarily pre-war cars, with a clutch of immediate post-war Jaguars as well as an XK150 FHC \u2013 and there\u2019s a fi rst- generation XK8 fi xed-head thrown into the mix as well. Interest in pre- war cars is still strong and the trio of Lea-Francis 12\/40 P-types should sell, although probably to one of that select group of \u2018LeaF\u2019 enthusiasts rather than someone fancying their fi rst go on something pre-war, who would be more likely to go down the Austin Seven Ford Model A route.<\/p>\n
