The collaboration follows the pair\u2019s earlier work on Mark\u2019s book Hooked \u2013 Adventures in Angling and Eating, in which Nettie\u2019s black-and-white drawings replaced conventional food photography. Their creative partnership continued last year with a series of colourful, framed prints combining recipes and illustrations, inspired by Andy Warhol\u2019s Wild Raspberries. The 28 artworks were printed at Jealous Print Studio in London and exhibited at Jealous Gallery in November 2024. Due to the exhibition\u2019s popularity, they decided to develop the works into book form.<\/p>\n<p>Published by independent East London press Bimbo Books, Fishy Tales blends art, recipes and personal re\ufb02ections into a beautiful tribute to Britain\u2019s seafood heritage. Mark says: \u2018It\u2019s been playing on my mind for years, so I spoke with Nettie about projects we could work on together, bringing my recipes and her incredible drawings together in one place.
