Tilray Brands acquired BrewDog in a \u00a333million deal last week. It led to 38 bars being closed and the loss of 484 jobs. The deal also left those who invested in BrewDog through crowdfunding rounds empty-handed. Mr Watt co-founded craft beer giant BrewDog in Aberdeenshire in 2007. He said yesterday: \u201cI am heartbroken for all of the hard-working and passionate team members who have lost their jobs. \u201cI am heartbroken for all of our brilliant \u2018equity punks\u2019 who did not get the return on their invest- ment they wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

A golden snitch went under the hammer for \u00a37,800, while Dumbledore and Voldemort wands sold for nearly \u00a35,500. They were part of a 50-year collection sold by someone who used to work in the industry, netting a total of \u00a3238,000.<\/p>\n

It included a Captain America helmet and shield, which sold for more than \u00a315,000, and a sword from Conan the Destroyer, which sold for \u00a311,700.
