It might have been only a kiss, but the fear was there. I know how I felt. And every time he\u2019s close, there\u2019s a buzzing sensation like a warning alarm in my head. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter what he was able to accomplish when you were younger.\u201d Cam reaches over and takes my hand. \u201cIt\u2019s what he hopes to finish now.\u201d \u201cA few threatening texts and a hot rose?\u201d I blow out my breath.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t want to live in fear, but that\u2019s what we\u2019re doing. \u201cIt\u2019s like he isn\u2019t even trying.\u201d \u201cIt doesn\u2019t hurt for us to be with you, Annie.\u201d Hawk brushes my hair from my face. \u201cWe would want to be with you even if you weren\u2019t under threat.\u201d I nod and gesture for him to continue the movie. Even as we watch, I\u2019m still unsettled by the thought we\u2019re preparing for nothing.<\/p>\n

That all of this is a huge mindfuck for no reason. We talk about sleeping over at Hawk\u2019s, but knowing Damon\u2019s watching settles me somehow. So we end up back in Damon\u2019s room. \u201cDoes being scared turn you on, Annie?\u201d Hawk leans on the headboard in only his boxers.<\/p>\n

Cam is on his phone with a guy who might be able to access my mom\u2019s texts. I just finished getting ready for bed. I pause on my way across the floor to consider it. \u201cI like being chased by you and held down. The woods and waiting definitely gets my heart racing.\u201d I shrug and climb onto the bed, crawling up to him in only a t-shirt and panties.<\/p>\n

I braided my hair so it would be out of the way. He watches me with hooded eyes and a cocky smile. I don\u2019t stop until I straddle his lap and put my hands around his neck. He toys with the hem of my shirt, but doesn\u2019t do anything to guide me or take me. \u201cYou like it when we\u2019re rough with you?\u201d The tips of his fingers skate along the outside of my thighs, sending shivers through me. \u201cYes.\u201d I meet his green eyes. \u201cDid you prefer it when it was a secret?<\/p>\n

A secret from everyone at school and then a secret from your mom? Did that get you off? Knowing they had no clue what you were doing?\u201d Hawk teases the lace on the edge of my panties. My breath catches. \u201cIt definitely added a heightened risk to everything we did, but I don\u2019t know if I prefer it. There\u2019s still a risk of us getting caught together. But that doesn\u2019t mean I don\u2019t want you now that everyone knows.\u201d \u201cNot everyone knows yet, goody.\u201d Cam tosses his phone on the nightstand and climbs in next to Hawk.<\/p>\n

Honestly, I can\u2019t get enough of seeing my guys\u2019 bodies.<\/p>\n
