He was a writer and executive producer on the iconic TV show \u201cSeinfeld,\u201d responsible for some of the show\u2019s most memorable bits and phrases including \u201cdouble-dipping,\u201d \u201cshrinkage\u201d and \u201cyada yada.\u201d<\/p>\n

He has contributed humor pieces to The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and Esquire. He\u2019s a stand-up comedian. But, as Mehlman observes \u2014 and Arnie Pepper, the Pulitzer- prize winning sports journalist and protagonist of Mehlman\u2019s latest novel \u201c#MeAsWell,\u201d discovers \u2014 these are not easy times to be funny.<\/p>\n
