He bares his teeth\u2014a dangerous, daring grin\u2014in response to my reaction. My back hits the wall with a soft thud. I straighten my shoulders, trying to hold my ground.<\/p>\n

My fight, flight, freeze response realizing that there is no fleeing and preparing to fight. He traps me between his arms, his hands on either side of me on the wall behind me. The heat of his body radiates off of him, and he leans his head down to my ear, his hot breath leaving goosebumps down my neck. I almost moan but manage to swallow it with a very audible gulp. My arousal making itself known as it drips down my thighs. I clench my thighs to stop it.<\/p>\n

Note to self: wear underwear at all times. Mikhail brings his lips to my ear, tugging on my lobe with his teeth. A shudder runs through me as he whispers hotly, \u201cKotik, I have a game for you. You are going to run. I am fair. I will give you a head start, and I will chase you.<\/p>\n

You escape me. You\u2019re free. The large windows adjacent to the kitchen line the living room wall, bringing in plenty of natural light and making the room look much bigger than it is. The bathroom has also been redone with white granite countertops and a fresh coat of white paint on all the walls. But the charm in the bathroom is the copper and white claw-foot bathtub that is large enough to make bathing comfortable for a tall woman.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s going on?\u201d I ask her as I walk behind the couch into the kitchenette, slip on my black Converse, and grab my keys from the counter. \u201cI\u2019m not sure. I swear Gale and I just cleaned and performed maintenance on all the machines, but the blender wouldn\u2019t turn off, and then the coffee maker wouldn\u2019t stop dumping hot water.\u201d She explains, and I sigh in frustration.
