The most cited article was \u201cA metaverse: Taxonomy, components, applications, and open challenges\u201d, by Park and Kim (2022) with 158 citations published in the IEEE Access 0,930 (SJR), the best quartile (Q1) and with an H index (158), this article \u201cdivides the concepts and essential techniques necessary for realizing the Metaverse into three components (i.e., hardware, software, and contents) and three approaches (i.e., user interaction, implementation, and application) rather than marketing or hardware approach to conduct a comprehensive analysis\u201d.<\/p>\n

In Figure 2 we can analyze the evolution of citations of the documents published until March 2023. The number of citations shows a positive net growth with R2 of 39% for the period \u22642013-2023, with 2022 reaching 268 citations. Figure 2. Evolution of citations between \u22642013 and 2023 Source: Own elaboration The h-index was used to ascertain the productivity and impact of the published work, based on the largest number of articles included that had at least the same number of citations. Of the documents considered for the h- index, 10 have been cited at least 10 times.<\/p>\n

Citations of all scientific and\/or academic documents from the period \u22642013 to March 2032, with a total of 487 citations, of the 55 documents 29 were not cited. The self-citation of documents in the period \u22642013 to March 2032, 2022 was self-cited 60 times. This investigation is based on a bibliometric study that was carried out to research and discover indicators of the evolution and dynamics of scientific and\/or academic information in published articles based on the main keywords (Figure 3).<\/p>\n

The results were extracted from VOSviewe, a scientific software, which aims to find and identify the main search keywords \u201cmetaverse, marketing\u201d. Figure 3. A network of all keywords To conduct this study, a survey was carried out based on scientific and\/or academic documents that address the topic of Influencer Marketing in the Digital Ecosystem. Figure 4 allows examining the linked keywords with the aim of highlighting the keywords network that appears together\/linked in each scientific article, leading to the recognition of the studied topics and the identification of trends in future research.<\/p>\n

Finally, in Figure 5, a profusion of bibliographic coupling is presented, including a unit of analysis of the cited references. Figure 4.<\/p>\n
