And if I can trust him with all the things he has brought into my life that I would label as \u201cgood,\u201d I can trust him with this, too, knowing that his purposes are for my ultimate good. When we come to these hard places, we discover the real benefit of walking with God and pursuing an intimate relationship with him when there is no tragedy driving us to him.<\/p>\n

You see, when we know God, when we know his character by studying his Word, we can trust him. We don\u2019t resent his sovereignty, his authority, his plan. We can embrace it. We can rest in it. What is God calling you to submit to today? Is it a difficult situation, a demanding person, an unfulfilled dream, a separation, a limitation, a loss?<\/p>\n

Are you willing to submit? Would you examine your heart and life for areas you have not yet given over to the authority of God? Would you begin today to get to know God better through his Word so that you can rest in his sovereignty as well as his love for you? Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored.
