\u201cMaybe…\u201d Shrugging his shoulders I can tell it\u2019s not going on the short list of names he likes and I wonder how long he\u2019s going to be here for. Ever? Is that too much to hope for? Probably. \u201cSo I found one I really like but you might not like it…\u201d His hand squeezes my free hand where it lays on the arm of my chair. \u201cTell me?\u201d Eyebrows pulling together he leans in and I know he\u2019s giving me his full attention.<\/p>\n

My cheeks flush as I reconsider the name I chose to offer. What if he hates it? I\u2019ll be embarrassed and he\u2019s going to have to say he doesn’t like it. Awkward. \u201cUh… Grayson.\u201d Clicking the phone screen off I let the deceive plop into my lap as I watch him chew on the name.<\/p>\n
