She inhaled and then held her breath before slowly releasing it to a count of ten, just like Frances had taught her.<\/p>\n<p>It felt dumb. It always felt dumb having to stop regular conversations to \u201ccentre her anxiety into a physical place to banish it,\u201d or whatever it was. She turned to Noah, all set for a self-mocking eye roll, and saw he had joined in. She grinned. Noah often found words difficult, but it was these little things that showed how much he cared.
