And now I’m right back where I—” Noah’s boot squelched as he shifted his weight. He glanced down. Water covered the floor where he was standing, ankle deep. It didn’t just fill the pool by the entrance anymore. Now it was spreading across the uneven stone and advancing slowly but steadily toward where Meg knelt with Alex.

The explosion must have shifted the path of the spring. And now the water had nowhere to go. The explosion had sealed the only outlet. And the cave was getting more water from the fissures in the ceiling. And it was rising. Measurably rising. “Meg.” His voice came out sharp and urgent. “We need to move. Definitely hit a point where I just couldn’t stop! I loved how faith-filled this story is. It’s messy and hard, but our characters learn they can depend on God while they’re going through it. It’s not easy for either of them and it makes the ending that much sweeter. ALYSSA, GOODREADS I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Meg and Noah had to overcome their brokenness to make their relationship work. The pair also needed to learn to rely on God and His goodness.

The action and adventure in this book had me glued to the pages and in one case holding my breath. JEANLOVES2READ, GOODREADS I got sucked into the story right away, and agonized with Meg and Noah as they both feel like they’re not enough, too broken for anyone to love. There are some great insights on trust, love, and letting God use brokenness to bring beauty.

MARGARET, GOODREADS In Too Deep is a wonderful adventure novel that will have readers glued to the pages and keep flipping late into the night. So, great timing. Noah Wilde yanked his ranger cap lower as his boots crunched over sunbaked gravel. He approached the Tapeats Cave system with practiced steps, though his shoulders were tighter than usual.

This is a short excerpt from the opening of “” by Unknown, quoted for review and introduction purposes.
