Was this someone else on their way to illegal racing? \u201cOh, that\u2019s in the port shipping district.\u201d Will opened the map on the phone and zoomed in to the location.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s an interesting choice. That section is gated and only accessible to people working in the area.\u201d He passed the phone into the backseat so I could take a closer look. \u201cThere was an article in the Vancouver Sun a few years back talking about the large number of Hell\u2019s Angels working for the Vancouver Port Authority. They were using their security clearance and union ties to hide smuggling operations.\u201d He raised an eyebrow at Sean. \u201cMaybe the Brotherhood has some connections like that in the North Van port community.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll know soon enough,\u201d Sean said, a wide grin splitting his face. His body vibrated with energy, like an elastic stretched taut, ready for release. He spun the tires, eager to get on the road. Will and I scrambled for our seat belts. I returned the phone to Will to navigate and frowned at Sean. \u201cYou\u2019re seriously pumped, aren\u2019t you? This isn\u2019t just some weird coping mechanism.\u201d Here we were packing lies and teetering on the edge of something dark and definitely dangerous, but Sean was fearless.<\/p>\n
