Georgiana sighed inwardly with pleasure. \u201cSo your mouth will not get too dry,\u201d she explained and then wished she had not since the reason was so obvious. I am going to sit and immerse myself in the story. I am not going to act like a silly school girl any more. I will not display my feelings so that Fitz notices.<\/p>\n

During the second break, Lizzy approached Georgiana. \u201cMr. Kearn is a remarkable reader,\u201d Lizzy said, shaking her head in wonder. \u201cThe characters come alive as he speaks. I do not believe I have ever heard anyone better.\u201d A flush of pleasure swept through Georgiana\u2019s person, almost as though the compliment had been meant for herself.<\/p>\n

Her pride in Mr. Kearn could not be matched. \u201cIndeed. When we have performed amateur theatrics, he is a great favorite to play the most dramatic parts.\u201d \u201cI am not surprised,\u201d Lizzy said, looking at her searchingly. Have I betrayed myself? Does she suspect? Lizzy sat down in her seat as soon as Mr. Kearn returned to his.<\/p>\n
