After The Blu – Marie France

Spun. Me. Deepening our kiss, hands in my hair, grip tight on my waist. “And you taste like honey,” he whispered against my lips. “Well,” I chuckled, “that’s not cheesy at all.” “Honey’s sweet, Beatrice.” And slowly, he lowered me to the ground, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead.
“I hope everyone saw that.” “Don’t let me do that again,” I teased, stepping into his car. He rounded the hood and slid into the driver’s seat. Hand on my thigh, he leaned forward. “I’m not the police.” … Our reservation never stood a chance. 1kitap1.com/en Session Ten Hangover He should’ve left me that day. I’m convinced, that morning, Cole Ellerby should have walked out of my life and never returned. But he didn’t leave, he’s waiting for me at home. I can smell my favorite tea – peppermint and chamomile – being brewed, his hand on the kettle, eyeing our mug wall thinking: “Would she want the black mug or the orange mug for when she comes back?”
My heating pad will be on the couch, tucked warm underneath the quilt we spent nine months butchering at the local library Fun Activates For Couples! incentive. Because if he’d left, there would be none of that. And for sure, I’m certain, if I called him right now, he’d say: “I hope the orange mug is okay.
Black seems too depressing for the occasion.” I’d laugh and say, “Mom’s passed out cold.” He’d ask, “What do you need from me?” And I’d say: “Stay.” Stay. One word, so impossibly simple, yet impossible to say. I’ve thought it, throughout the course of my life, I prayed for it.
Stay, please Dad. Why are you punishing yourself? Mom, he’s gone. But I’m here. Stay. Don’t leave me. Jace – Jace, if we could work this out, maybe you could – Maybe. Maybe. Because I was never certain of an answer with him.

Damn. It feels good to be back. With love, Beatrice XO 1kitap1.com/en Author’s Note I had no plans to write a “sequel” to A Hue of Blu. Hell, I don’t know that I would even categorize this novella as such. It’s more like closure, for those who loved Blu – connected with her journey – this one is for you.
My intention with Blu’s Diaries is to give you all the answers you’ve been waiting for. Some of you read the alternate ending, and trust me, I’ve seen your comments, heard your questions: “Are they going to find their way back to each other? Will they end up together?” The answer is, and always will be, no. Jace’s story ended in book one, and I stand by them not ending up together. Beatrice (Blu) Henderson has gone through so much in her life to have her growth and progress fractured by more toxicity.
Jace Boland was a chapter in her life, but he was never going to be the full story. Amen to that. The same trigger warnings pertain to this book as they did in the first: S/A, toxic family dynamics, self-esteem, BPD, body dysmorphia, and mental health. This isn’t a story, it’s a message. It’s guidance. It’s moving on. I want you to hear it from Blu.
