Born To Rule Rise Of A Second Son 4 – Shane Hammond

asked Narvas with a shrug. “There’s nothing wrong with appreciating a great pair of tits.” I leaned back in my seat. “You know something, Narvas? I agree with you.” Adriana rolled her eyes and poked my side. By this point, the ship had reached the jetty, and the crew had jumped off to tie her up. “I never knew this kind of place existed here,” admitted Adriana as she looked at the caves.
“We always knew there were pirates on this stretch of the coast, but we didn’t think there was anything this large. Or permanent for that matter.” Narvas grinned. “Not that you haven’t tried, eh? Every once in a while, a Hamelineshi ship comes floating up from the strait. They’re always looking for trouble, but we can spot them from a long way off.
Do you know what we do? We hide. We extinguish all the candles and the people dip back into the cave. Without the light, this place looks like a deserted pirate haunt.” “Even with the ships?” I asked. “The ships would be a dead giveaway that someone’s here.
Or at least warrant a little bit of interest on the part of the arriving boat.” Narvas shook his head. “We leave only a boat or two on the main jetty. The others can slip into the caves. See that hole right there?” He pointed to a section where the water dipped around the cave, creating a hidden nook. “There are five more boats back there,” he said proudly. “And we can fit three more if we wanted to.
Most of the time, they stay moored back there, so that nothing can give this place away. You don’t come here unless we want you to come here.” “In that case, we’re grateful for your hospitality,” joked Adriana. “And as a representative of Hamelin, thank you for allowing me here so graciously after so many centuries of my people failing to find it.”
Narvas glared at her. “Yeah, yeah. A dragon changes everything, okay? That’s the only reason you’re here.” Adriana grinned at me, which I returned. With the boat moored securely, we climbed over the side, with me taking turns helping my women off. I did so with Madeline, who lingered just a little too long once my hands were wrapped around her waist. I expected some kind of flirtatious comment when I set her down, but Madeline met my eyes, smiled, and looked down at the water.
“What?” I joked. “Nothing to say this time?” “Oh, I could say lots of things,” she said, cocking her head to one side. “Don’t ever doubt my ability to turn a phrase.” “Then, how come you didn’t bless me with some kind of remark just now?” Her eyes rolled upward in thought. “How about this one? That’s not the last time you’ll be holding me by the waist like that.”

1kitap1.com/en Author’s Note There are so many noble families and countries that it can be hard to keep them straight. I created two appendixes in the back of the book in order to give you a resource to reference all these names. One is for all the main countries as well as one for the most important noble families. Enjoy! The Story So Far Jason Martell’s path to power has been anything but easy. The second son of King Jeremiah Martell, he was never supposed to inherit any real power.
Fate had a different plan though, when his older brother was killed off in a shady plot that involved scheming between two noble houses. Suddenly, Jason finds himself at the forefront of power, and with enemies all around him. A new alliance has been sealed with the elves of Hamelin, coming from the friendship of Princess Adriana. Together, they see off a threat to the throne of Hamelin, saving her father, King Lothar in the process.
On the journey back to Sevona, Jason learns that he has the power to activate magical talismans, something that marks him as unique in his world. He uses it to save the dwarves of Black Mountain from an attack by the orcs, as well as to rescue his father from being under the control of Lucius Trante, one of the nobles involved in the death of his brother.
With Jason coming into power in Sevona, a new threat appears.
