Easter Egg Murder – Leslie Meier

Shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Sprinkle the chocolate shavings on top. Enjoy! Sausage and Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole This easy casserole can be prepped the night before, making Easter morning stress-free! Ingredients 1 pound pork breakfast sausage 10 eggs 1½ cups whole milk or half-and-half (2% milk works too) 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper ½ teaspoon garlic powder 1 (30 ounce) package frozen shredded hash browns, thawed 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 375°F.
Grease a 9 × 13 inch baking dish. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces. Drain grease. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Layer the hash browns, cooked sausage, and cheese in the baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the top. (If making ahead, cover and refrigerate overnight.) Cover the dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake another 20 minutes. Serve as is or with a splash of hot sauce. Enjoy! Wishing you all a Happy Easter filled with love, laughter, and—most importantly—no unexpected baby bunnies! OceanofPDF.com Chapter Six he sun was beginning to dip below the horizon when Hayley pushed open the door to Randy’s bar, Drinks Like a Fish. After the chaotic week she had endured, a night out with her best friends, Liddy and Mona, was exactly what she needed to decompress. “Hayley!” Randy called from behind the bar, his face brightening as he spotted her.
He wiped his hands on a bar towel, then approached her with a tray piled high with crispy fried clams. “Here—consider this my peace offering. I feel terrible about how that dinner went down the other night, with Sergio going hard at Bruce like that.” Hayley gave him a reassuring smile, though she was still troubled. “Thanks, Randy. I know it wasn’t your fault.
Sergio’s just doing his job, but I can’t believe anyone would seriously think Bruce could kill anyone.” Randy nodded, glancing over his shoulder at a table of patrons who were calling him over.
