Everything You Need To Know About Healing – Rick Renner (1)

The price Jesus paid to claim us was unparalleled, surpassing any ransom ever paid for a captive in human history. It was the price of Jesus’ own blood that guaranteed our deliverance and lasting freedom from demonic powers that held us captive and that resulted in our transfer to Christ’s ownership. This word lutroo — which describes redemption — unmistakably means that Jesus paid the ransom that set us free, and now we are legally the property of Jesus Himself!
THE FOURTH WORD OF REDEMPTION: RESTORED (apolutrosis) In the New Testament, the fourth word used to convey the concept of “redemption” is the Greek word apolutrosis. This intriguing word is a compound of the Greek word apo, which implies a return or a reversal, and the word lutroo, which, as I previously explained, describes the act of ransoming a slave to grant him lasting liberty and legally transition him to a new master.
But when these two words are compounded to form the word apolutrosis, it means to pay the price required to buy back a slave with the goal of restoring his status. God’s original plan was never for humanity to be filled with death or shackled by sin, nor to dwell as captives in realms ruled by Satan.
This fourth word “redemption” tells us that Jesus offered Himself as the ransom in order to turn back the clock and return us to the former glory God planned for humanity before spiritual death entered the core of human existence. Put simply, Jesus bore the cost to shatter the grip of Satan upon us and ensure our freedom so we would be reinstated as rightful heirs and cherished sons and daughters of God Almighty!
Paul used the word apolutrosis in this very way in Ephesians 1:7 when he says, ‘In whom [Christ] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.’ By using the word apolutrosis, Paul proclaimed that we were rescued from Satan’s dark domain and reinstated to a position of rightstanding with the Father that was always meant for us from the beginning.
It’s no wonder that Psalm 107:2 resounds with the exhortation, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!”

OceanofPDF.com ENDORSEMENTS The following endorsements were written by those closely connected to healing ministry. I am deeply honored that Rick Renner would ask me to endorse his new book. As always, he has dug deeply into the truth of God’s Word. In this book, Rick shows that one of many doors we can open for sickness is worry, which is rooted in fear and comes from meditating on the lies of the devil.
On the other hand, faith comes from meditating on the truth of God’s WORD. The Savior’s purpose, according to God’s WORD, was, and still is, to destroy the works of the devil. A careful study of Scripture makes it clear that Jesus came not to only bear our sin but also our sicknesses — and to carry our diseases — so that we might walk in divine health.
The moment Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, His blood declared that we are healed! I wholeheartedly encourage you to not only read this book but to study it with your Bible in hand.
