Pick up a bag of coleslaw mix…no need to shred cabbage. 1 head cabbage, shredded 1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced 10-3/4 oz. can cream of celery soup salt and pepper to taste Place cabbage and sausage in a large soup pot; add just enough water to cover. Simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes, until cabbage is tender.

Do not drain. Stir in soup, salt and pepper; heat through. Makes 4 to 6 servings. A dash of cider vinegar adds zing to any cabbage dish.
