Fruit Of Magical Freedom – Brenda Trim

“Like that’s going to happen.” The Garden groaned under the strain of the battle. The trees, once majestic and strong, now seemed to sag with weariness. The flowers were reduced to wilted, colorless husks. Crap, they were winning. “Keep pushing them back!” I called out. My voice strained as I summoned another wave of my magic. We fought with everything we had, but the warlocks were tenacious.
Their dark magic seeped into the ground, poisoning the very heart of the Garden. Every step forward was a struggle. “They’re not letting up,” Aislinn said through gritted teeth. I sent another burst of phoenix fire at the encroaching darkness. “We have to hold our ground,” I insisted. The warlock leader laughed. It was a chilling sound that sent shivers down my spine. “You’re too late. The Garden will fall, and its power will be ours!”
My face was set in grim determination. “Not if we have anything to say about it.” Drawing on every ounce of strength and magic, we joined together. The Garden rallied with us. It poured power into our efforts. Light magic clashed with Dark in a blinding display of power. For a moment, it felt like time stood still. And then the world imploded. After the dust settled, we found ourselves standing amidst the wreckage. The warlocks were gone and the Garden was left scarred and weakened.
However, it was still alive. “This isn’t over,” I said tiredly. “We need to heal the Garden and find the rest of the elements.” Fiona nodded, wiping the sweat from her brow. “Agreed. Let’s get to work. We’ve got a Garden to save.” Aislinn placed a hand on a nearby tree, her expression softening with empathy.
“Only our unique blend of power could heal these injuries.” As we moved through casting spells, drawing runes and calling on our individual powers, we got a better view of the damage. The extent of the destruction was painful to witness.

Aislinn smiled and nodded her head eagerly. “I have wanted to try this place out ever since it opened last year.” “Bailey could not stop raving over the treatments,” Violet replied.
“You know we’ve been far too busy when my twenty-year-old daughter got there before us.” I snorted and gave her a look. “I just hope we aren’t tempting fate. We managed to reorganize our new sanctum at Pymm’s Pondside and add the finishing touches to the emergency house we decided to keep. I like this new life of leisure.” As we ventured into the heart of the mystical maze of shops and alleyways, the Mystic Oasis Spa emerged like a beacon of relaxation amidst the enchanting chaos.
Its exterior was adorned with intricate carvings and shimmering crystals. It promised a haven for weary souls seeking rejuvenation. Above the doorway was a mosaic of shimmering gemstones forming an intricate pattern. Stepping through, we were greeted by a wave of warm, fragrant air that was laced with the exotic scents of herbs and incense.
It instantly soothed me. Inside, the spa was a sight to behold. Unsurprisingly, the place was an oasis of opulence and elegance.
