I watch the SUV disappear down the driveway and head straight for the living room where family business is waiting. Katya’s already nursing her wine with that pissed off glare she gets when someone crosses her. Dom pours fresh whiskey. Mateusz sprawls on the couch like the whole day’s chaos is just another Sunday. Elżbieta’s perched on the armrest scrolling her phone but she sets it down when I walk in. “That was fucking interesting,” Dom says, handing me a glass. “Your girl handled Mama’s episode like a pro and didn’t even blink at Tony’s body.”

I down half the whiskey in one swallow. “Yeah. She did.” Mateusz whistles low. “Viktor called me before dinner. Told me an interesting story about how she delivered Simone Laurent’s head to you personally.” The room goes dead quiet. Everyone looks at Mateusz, then at me. Viktor had no business spreading that without clearing it with me first. “What the fuck?” Dom says. “Simone’s dead?” Elżbieta stares. “You got her head delivered?” Katya’s smile spreads slow and cold. “Oh this is rich. Your psycho girlfriend killed Simone and brought you the head like a gift?”

I slam my glass down hard enough to rattle the table. “I’m going to have a conversation with Viktor. That wasn’t his story to tell.” “He called me direct,” Mateusz says, shifting. “Said Simone was connected loose and I should know.” “Loose or not, she was disposable,” I say flat. Dom rubs his jaw. “So it’s true. Amaya killed her over you.” “Yeah,” I say. “Over me fucking Simone.” Elżbieta exhales slowly. “That’s intense.”

Katya leans forward, eyes bright. “That’s unstable. She killed Simone over one fuck. We need to handle her before she decides one of us is next.” I’m across the room before I think, my hand around her throat, slamming her back into the wall hard enough to shake the pictures.

“Threaten her again and I’ll kill you slow. Family or not.” Her eyes go wide but there’s something dark in them too, something calculating. “You’d kill your sister? Over some side piece?” I tighten my grip just enough. “I killed our father.

Morant www.nakiyainc.com 1kitap1.com/en Dedication To every woman who’s ever been told she’s “too much” too angry, too loud, too intense, too possessive, too everything… this book is for you. For the girls who figured out young that being soft just got you hurt, so you learned to fight back instead.

For the ones who spent years swallowing your want, waiting for permission that never came, until one day you said fuck waiting and went to get what was always supposed to be yours. For the women who love so deep and so hard it scares people, who protect what belongs to them like it’s sacred ground, who would burn cities before they let someone take what’s theirs.

For every time you’ve been called crazy, psycho, obsessed, unhinged, controlling — when all you were really doing was refusing to lose the one person who finally felt like home. For the nights you cried because the world told you real love is quiet and patient, when what you felt was loud and feral and couldn’t be tamed. You are not broken. You are not wrong. You are not defective. You are the fire they tried to drown. You are the blade they told you to dull.

You are the woman who claims what’s hers without apology and fucks like she’s winning. This story isn’t gentle. It’s not safe. It’s not polite. It’s honest. It’s raw. It’s the kind of love that leaves marks and doesn’t say sorry. To every woman who’s ever stared into the dark and decided the dark was hers to keep.

this one’s for you. Never dim yourself to make them comfortable. Never apologize for your teeth. Never let anyone convince you your hunger is anything less than holy. You were born to take what’s yours. And the world is about to learn what happens when you finally do. With blood on my hands and zero regrets, M.N. Morant 1kitap1.com/en MAJOR TRIGGER WARNING!!!!
