Without the Sun, there’s no rainbow … and without the rainbow? Well, life would be less enchanting! So, too, would the world be less colorful without the wonderful personality-plus Leos! And Archangel Raziel adds even more beauty to the Leo picture. Like the Sun, Raziel shines. Like the rainbow, Archangel Raziel is radiant. Wherever you have Leo in your chart is where you can light it up. Leo is all about drama and showmanship.

This is the sign that guides actors—and the attendant drama—on television, onstage, and in the movies. The drama can sometimes extend to real life, as Leos can be “drama queens” or divas, or demand to be the center of attention. Think of a grand entrance where everyone cranes their neck to see someone, and you have an image and feeling of Leos in all their glory.

Think of the Leo symbol: the Lion, king of the jungle … the epitome of Leo fabulousness. Leos have never been the shrinking violets of astrology. By the same token, Raziel is one of the most showy archangels. The glories of Heaven are visible in the beautiful prism-of-light rainbow that surrounds Raziel and which reflects the Leo Sun. As the wizard and metaphysician of the archangels, Raziel has the power to heal. And so, too, do Leos or those with a strong Leo bias in their charts, whether they know it or not.

They have the ability to entertain and literally en-light-en people. Think of the actor on the stage who helps audience members forget all their troubles as he struts his stuff. Archangel Raziel can also help people heal their painful pasts if they ask. By the same token, time spent with a Leo can distract us from ourselves. For one thing, Leos are very happy to talk about themselves! Leos are often teased for thinking that they are at the center of the Universe.

But considering that their sign’s planet is the Sun, it’s only natural that they feel that things “revolve” around them, the way that the planets revolve around the Sun. But the upside of Leos is their extreme warmth and generosity of spirit. They might have a “Look at me!” theme (showbiz queen Madonna is an example), but their own confidence can inspire us to feel more confident about ourselves.

Leos live by the maxim “There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.”
